Jim Hallowes founded Hallowes Productions & Advertising in 1985. Broadcast and print production from concept to completion.
Jim is a former Vice President, Creative Supervisor at Doyle Dane Bernbach Advertising, and worked in both the New York and Los Angeles offices for more than a dozen years.
A graduate of the Art Center College of Design with honors, Jim has also been an instructor at Art Center and has taught all levels of advertising.
A director member of the Directors Guild of America since 1984.
And, in 2005, because of his background and expertise in the areas of advertising and commercial production, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honored Jim by making him a voting member of the Academy.
Jim's extensive experience in art direction and directing has led to award winning TV spots featuring Orson Welles (We will sell no wine before its time campaign), Charlton Heston, Ronald Reagan, King Kong Bundy, and recently commercials featuring Evel Knievel (Cycle Law) and Dolly Parton (Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country campaigns).
